The review contains fantastic news; Lesson's for Life have reached over 60,000 children, family and community members since 2008.
2016 highlights include:
- We gave 6,731 students direct access to education.
- We enabled 9,847 children to benefit from school improvement works.
- We reached 9,673 family and community members.
At Lessons for Life, we believe that education changes everything and every child, no matter where they are born, has the right to an education that equips them for life.
In our review you will find further details on our three main areas of work to give more children access to a quality education: Children, Schools and Communities. You can also read an eye-opening spotlight on our partner CHAU, a fantastic organisation that was was estabilished in 2004 in response to the need of HIV and AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children in Uganda.
You can also learn more about our exciting future plans including our aim to be a $10 million charity by 2020.
Our work would not be possible without the support we get from our corporate champions. In this year's review we highlight our relationship with our founding corporate partner - Liberty Global, along with Accenture, Scotiabank and Virgin Media. These are a handful of the many amazing companies that support Lessons for Life's work.
A big thanks to you all for your continued support. Click here to learn more about how you can get involved and help give more children access to an education that equips them for life.
