Teleplan and Lessons for Life launch new partnership
4th May 2018
Lessons for Life is excited to announce the launch of a new corporate partnership with Teleplan, world leaders in the lifecycle care of electronics.
Teleplan’s donation of €20,000 will support the life changing work of Lessons for Life across Africa. Children are at the heart of what we do. The core of Lessons for Life's funding is spent on directly supporting the education of underprivileged and vulnerable children. We support them with the cost of school fees, uniforms, books, stationary and hygiene kits.
Both Lessons for Life and Teleplan want to see every child, no matter where they are born, get an education that equips them for life; an education that gives them the skills, qualifications and resilience to make their mark. For us, it all starts with sending children to school.
The partnership will also see Teleplan CEO, François Lacombe, taking part in our Big Ride for Africa 2018, a cycling and running challenge event, which will be held in the beautiful surroundings of Castlemartin Stud Farm in County Kildare, Ireland, on the edge of the stunning and challenging Wicklow Mountains in June.
"Lessons for Life has ambitious plans to grow our income to reach thousands more children each year, giving them the gift of education that could have a transformational impact on their lives and wider communities. We are hugely grateful for the support of Teleplan and look forward to developing a fantastic partnership.” Prescott Price, CEO - Lessons for Life
Teleplan CEO, François Lacombe: “Working with Lessons for Life is a great privilege for us all at Teleplan. We hope our donation, fundraising efforts and future support can contribute towards the education of individuals who can use their newly learnt skills to benefit others. Additionally, we will work with Lessons for Life to further spread awareness of their beliefs and grow their support.”
